24th Annual Photo A Go-Go Auction
As I was perusing my social media feeds last evening, I came across a post from Maine Photo Works (my photo lab of choice!) for the Bakery Photo Collective's 24th Annual Photo A Go-Go Auction. Things here at cnh images are really ramping up. I've been adding to my collection over the Summer, and now my favorite season is here, and I've got some great foliage shots as well. So, when I saw this advertisement, I decided, "Hey, what the heck, I'm going to try this out!" I went to social media to let my followers know that I was going to participate, and that I would love some input from them as well. After hearing suggestions and people reaching out to me directly, I decided to enter my Ellis Falls Waterfall foliage picture that I had just taken this past weekend. There is no guarantee that it will even be in the show, but I'll tell you one thing, I'm damn proud I did it. It now goes under review, and official selections will be announced in the first week of November.
Expounding on "things ramping up". I have spent a good amount of time and money building my brand. I am looking to get to a point where I can do some local artisan craft fairs. My goal is for NEXT year, but I am at the point where I think I may be able to do one or two before the end of 2024. I've purchased booth materials such as wire standing racks, a custom printed tablecloth, business cards, close to 40 hard copies of my work in various sizes, and I have a Square reader so I can collect all forms of payments, from credit/debit cards to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, etc.
All that being said, I would love for you all to come out sometime and see me! I truly appreciate everyone that has been liking, commenting, sharing my content on the socials. Everyone I have spoken with in this industry has said that consistency is key, and I feel that a blog may be a good step in that direction as well. I hope you all continue enjoying and supporting my work, and I will keep you updated with the latest info here, and on social media.
Thanks for reading! Have a fantastic day!
